Unfortunately for Donaghmoyne the hosts finished the strongest, scoring a third goal and 4 points to win on a final scoreline of 0-11 to 3-08.

Minors: The minors lost out, in their first game of the season to Magheracloone in a tightly contested match. Playing against the wind in the first half Donaghmoyne trailed 0-2 to 0-6 at halftime. An improved second half display with 3 points from Sean Meegan, a point from Cormac Markey and a Ross Lennon goal drew the sides level with 3 minutes to go.
